45. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES – The Minutes of the Planning Committee Meeting held on Monday, 8^th March 2010 having been previously circulated were taken as read, and on the Motion of Cllr. R. A. Foxwell and seconded by Cllr. J. H. Williams it was RESOLVED - THAT such Minutes be approved as a true record and signed by the Chairman.

46. MATTERS ARISING FROM MINUTES: - There were no matters arising.

47. PLANNING APPLICATIONS – Details of the Planning Applications were considered and the Committee’s recommendations are contained in the Schedule attached.

Development of vehicular and pedestrian/cycle access including a new link road, re-grading of site to form new site levels and associated infrastructure works, parking, servicing, landscaping, public realm and public open space provision.	Please see our previous observations on this application which still apply. Whilst we welcome the proposed retail units, bars etc., we have real concerns about the potential impact of this development on an already depressed Barry Town Centre with many shop units remaining vacant.
